Dev Sanyal is responsible for BP’s global gas and low carbon energy busineses.
Dev joined BP in 1989 and has held a variety of international roles in London,
Athens, Istanbul, Vienna and Dubai. He was general manager, Former Soviet Union
and Eastern Europe, prior to being appointed chief executive, BP Eastern
Mediterranean in 1999. In 2003 he was appointed chief executive, Air BP
International and in 2006 was appointed head of the group chief executive’s office.
He was appointed group treasurer in 2007. During this period, he was also chairman
of BP Investment Management and was accountable for the group’s aluminium
interests. On joining the BP executive team in 2011, Dev was executive vice
president, strategy and regions prior to his appointment in 2016 as chief executive,
alternative energy and executive vice president, Europe and Asia regions. He was
appointed to his current position in 2020.
Dev is an independent non-executive director on the board of Man Group plc; a
member of the international energy advisory board of the Government of India; the
advisory board of the Centre for European Reform; and the board of advisors of The
Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, Tufts University in the US. He was a
member of the Accenture Global Energy Board (2012-2019) and a Trustee of the
Careers Academy Foundation (2007-2013). He is a Fellow of the Energy Institute.

From 2003 to 2014, he was a member of NOVATEK’s Board of Directors and formerly served as the Chairman on the Strategy and Investment Committee. He was responsible for listing NOVATEK on the London Stock Exchange in 2005, and has led many of the Company’s Eurobond and domestic bond placements.

Prior to joining NOVATEK, he worked at a number of independent oil and gas companies in the United States since 1981 where he specialized in financial and economic analysis matters in both the upstream and downstream segments, as well as was a former partner in PWC’s Petroleum practice based in Moscow from 1995 to 2003.

Dr Andrew Walker is the Vice President for Strategy for Cheniere Marketing. He is located in London and is responsible for the Strategy and Market Outlook of the marketing arm of Cheniere, reporting into the President of Cheniere Marketing Ltd. Until recently (October 2015) he was Vice President for Global LNG, and prior to that Head of LNG Strategy, at BG Group, where he worked for over 20 years before joining Cheniere. During his career in LNG he has been located in Singapore, Egypt, USA and UK and has worked on numerous LNG projects including Atlantic LNG in Trinidad and Tobago, Egyptian LNG, and Dragon LNG in the UK. Dr Walker has a Doctorate in Geology from Imperial College, University of London.
Denis Bonhomme, who holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Austin (USA) and a Diploma of the EM Lyon, started his career in the oil sector (Elf & TOTAL). He was Corporate Treasurer in charge of oil and gas assets financing for 5 years in Aberdeen and London (UK), and Business Development Manager in the Natural Gas Department, working on the development of LNG assets in Nigeria and power and gas assets in the Middle East.
He then spent 4 years at McKinsey, specializing in energy and financial assignments for clients in the energy and industrial sector, and 2 years in the retail industry, before joining SUEZ in 2006 as Strategy Director for the Energy Services business line. He was appointed in 2010 as Strategy Director for GDF SUEZ LNG, the LNG Business Unit of GDF SUEZ/ENGIE, then Managing Director and Senior Vice President Business Development Asia for Global LNG APAC, the TOTAL Gas and Power subsidiary based in Singapore.
He is now Vice President LNG for TOTAL in China, based in Beijing.
Mr. Matteo Tanteri is Chairman and CEO of Snam China since 2019. He is also Vice President of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in China and Vice Chair of the Energy working group of the European Chamber of Commerce.
After a long career in consulting, he joined Snam in 2014 supporting the start-up of initiatives that are currently shaping the strategic development of Snam (Acquisition of TAP, Launch of sustainable mobility, Biomethane, …). In 2016 he has been selected as the first Head of the Office of the CEO of Snam for the new CEO of Snam, Marco Alverà. In 2017 he has been named Senior Vice President, in charge of international assets (managing stakes Snam has in companies in France, Austria, Greece, UK, Belgium) contributing to 15% of Snam net income. He was Chairman of Terega and Snam International.

Tze San was also the Global Head of Procurement for the Downstream and Chemical businesses in Houston, managing ~$20G annual spend with employees across >10 countries.
After spending 11 years in North America, Tze San located to Beijing as President of China Gas Marketing – responsible for ExxonMobil’s fast growing LNG business in China. She believes that the key success factors are to build and maintain credibility, and to be helpful while making a positive impact on others. She enjoys mentoring and networking. Tze San is a passionate Inclusion & Diversity advocate with the strong belief that diversity drives the best results.
Tze San was named as one of the top 50 most powerful women in oil and gas by the Diversity and Leadership conference and selected as part of the 2020 Global Female Influencer 275 list by the Women’s Energy Council.

Kristine Leo is the Chief Representative and Country Manager for China and is accountable for the Beijing Representative Office and all Woodside activities in
the Region including offices in Dalian, Penglai, Zhuhai and Tianjin.
Kris has been with Woodside Energy since 2010 after 23 years in Australian Government roles in the Northern Territory and Western Australia. She has
resided in China since 2018 in the role of Chief Representative. The principle focus of Kris’s current business activities is to facilitate and support
the marketing of Woodside’s short, mid and long-term LNG portfolio volumes (including the NWS, Pluto, Wheatstone assets) and manage relationships with

Adnan Ezzarhouni has contributed to the development of GTT since 2001 and currently serves as General Manager of GTT China.
Before assuming this position, he occupied various posts in GTT, including Designer, Project Engineer, Project Leader and Business Development Manager, in the Technical, Innovation and Commercial Divisions.
He spent 4 years as Project Leader in charge of the development of the new generation of Membrane Full Containment System for onshore tanks, and was published as Author or Co-Author of ensuing patents.
In 2014, Adnan also led the new Ethane shipping market with the development of the world’s first VLECs (Very Large Ethane Carrier) that began operation in 2017.

Sinan Liu is LNG Origination Manager for Glencore, based in Singapore. He is responsible of the LNG supply and trading with Glencore’s LNG customers in greater China region. In his current capacity, Sinan originates spot and term LNG supply solutions that meet the growing requirement of Chinese buyers for flexibility and risk management.
Sinan has more than 10 years of experience in the gas and LNG industry. Prior to joining Glencore LNG team, Sinan has worked in diverse international engineering and commercial capacities across the LNG/Gas value chain at Royal Dutch Shell.
Sinan holds a BSC in Mechanical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and an MSc in Engineering from Arts et Métiers ParisTech.

Patrick Janssens is currently serving as ABS Vice President LNG, Corporate Global Gas Solutions and is responsible for coordinating LNG-related activities within ABS on a corporate level.
Prior to joining ABS, Janssens served as Senior Vice President of Technology at Flex LNG where he focused on conceptual development and FEED of a generic floating LNG liquefaction project. He also served as Chief Technical Officer of Exmar Marine NV where he was in charge of the development of the first LNG regasification vessels from conceptual design to the development of all operational procedures and the development of the first commercially used ship to ship LNG transfer system. He managed newbuildings projects for several LNG carriers, LPG/NH3 carriers, oil tankers, bulk carriers and container ships.

SHI Yang has worked in LNG trading industry since 2008 and is based in Singapore where he covers global LNG trading business in ENGIE. In the past 12 years in LNG trading business, SHI Yang has involved variety of activities in the whole LNG value chain from upstream to downstream. SHI Yang and the whole ENGIE team aim to further develop its global LNG business including both physical and derivatives, which is around 8.0 million ton per annual of physical LNG and more than 130 customers for hedging service at the moment.

Lena Ren joined Shell in 2005 and acquired experience in supply chain, bunker trading and marine lubricants marketing and sales. She was one of the pioneers of LNG market entry inside China and has been instrumental in negotiating a variety of conventional LNG SPAs with market participants in Asia and now is a member of Shell Marine LNG Business Development team to execute Marine LNG strategy. She is a member of Sustainable Ocean Alliance and committed to combat ocean plastics pollution. Lena holds Statistics M.S. degree from the Ohio State University, a MBA from Peking University and an EMBA from INSEAD.

Rita Huang joined ICIS in 2005 and had over 15 years of information and consulting experience in China gas market. With insights into China Gas market, Ms. Huang plays the key role as CIO with Gastank and Cethinktank, and leads the analysis and consulting team. She has extensive knowledge accumulation and consulting experience in China's liquefied petroleum gas, natural gas, liquefied natural gas, city gas and unconventional natural gas markets. She has led and participated in amounts of domestic and foreign large oil companies commissioned research, IPO, investment feasibility studies and strategic planning and other projects, covering the field of gas production, storage, supply and demand balance, price analysis and forecasting, industrial investment layout and investment strategy and so on. Miaoru Huang joined Wood Mackenzie’s Beijing office in 2016 as a senior manager/principal consultant. She leads our China gas and LNG research. Miaoru focuses on industrial themes (such as coal-to-gas switching, inter-fuel competition, pricing reforms, shale gas), gas demand outlooks and corporate dynamics. She and the wider China commodity team deliver integrated and comprehensive research into gas, coal, power and renewables in China. She also supports various consulting projects.
Previously, Miaoru Huang spent seven years as a senior analyst in Rio Tinto where she analyzed energy trends in major Asian markets and supported energy procurement negotiation.

Alice Yan is a 20-year veteran in the oil and gas and energy sector, with expertise in turbomachinery equipment such as gas turbines, steam turbines, and compressors. Her experience in turbomachinery configuration spans across the gas value chain – from onshore and offshore production to LNG, gas storage, refinery and petrochemical plants. In her current role as the head of application engineering for the turbomachinery business in APAC, she is responsible for identifying the right technical solutions for the customers and providing turbomachinery equipment for oil and gas operators, energy companies and EPCs on pre-FEED, FEED and projects.

Su Ming works at NDRC’s Energy Research Institute, as an associate professor, and deputy director of research management and international collaboration division. He got a Master’s degree in thermal engineering and a Ph.D. in Economics. Now he is engaged in the research of energy and environment economics, energy development strategy and planning. He mainly took part in the research and formulation of some China’s strategies and policies, such as environment protection and energy coordinated development of Yangtze-river Economic Zone, energy production and consumption revolution strategy(2016-2030), the cap on total energy consumption in 12th five-year period, the reduction and substitution of coal consumption to prevent and control air pollution, energy planning in the Silk Road economic belt.
