Patrick Janssens is currently serving as ABS Vice President LNG, Corporate Global Gas Solutions and is responsible for coordinating LNG-related activities within ABS on a corporate level.
Prior to joining ABS, Janssens served as Senior Vice President of Technology at Flex LNG where he focused on conceptual development and FEED of a generic floating LNG liquefaction project. He also served as Chief Technical Officer of Exmar Marine NV where he was in charge of the development of the first LNG regasification vessels from conceptual design to the development of all operational procedures and the development of the first commercially used ship to ship LNG transfer system. He managed newbuildings projects for several LNG carriers, LPG/NH3 carriers, oil tankers, bulk carriers and container ships.
Janssens holds a Master’s Degree in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of Ghent in Belgium.
Yao is the founder and CEO of SIA Energy with 20 years of energy industry experience. SIA Energy is a China-focused energy consulting firm offering insight and data on Chinese energy policy, politics, players and markets, covering the full oil, gas and power value chain. SIA Energy serves foreign entities looking to invest and growth in China, and Chinese entities looking for entry and expansion abroad. Prior to founding SIA, Yao served as Senior Director and Head of PFC Energy’s China office for over 7 years, lived and worked in the Middle East for 6 years, and served Chinese central government for 2 years. Yao holds a Master of Science degree from the Edmond A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University in Washington DC, and a Bachelor of Laws degree in International Politics from Renmin University of China.
Seng Kee was appointed as Head of Marketing for GLX in April 2017. He is tasked to recruit LNG buyers, sellers and traders to the GLX online trading platform.
Seng Kee has over twenty-six years’ experience in LNG marketing/trading, commercial and project management in the international energy industry across Americas, Europe and Asia.
Seng Kee graduated from University of Malaya with an Accountancy Honours Degree, and obtained an MBA in 1998 from RMIT University of Melbourne. Seng Kee has also participated in executive programs at the London Business School and INSEAD.
Kerry Anne Shanks leads Wood Mackenzie’s Asia Pacific Gas and LNG Research. She has over 15 years experience in the sector. As a recognised expert in gas and LNG market dynamics, Kerry Anne has advised on a number of the world’s major gas and LNG projects. Specific engagements include strategic advice, pricing disputes and due diligence on project-finance and other transactions. Kerry Anne was previously based in London and relocated to Singapore in 2014. Kerry Anne joined Wood Mackenzie in 2004 from Shell where she worked in business development. She has an Honours degree in Mathematics and Finance from Waikato University, New Zealand.
Graduated from China Petroleum University, majoring in Petroleum Geoscience. In 1990, he got a master’s degree of Exploration and Evaluation from PetroChina Exploration and Development Research Institute.
His key publications and collaboration includes China Gas Clean Energy Development Report(2014), China Refined Oil Market Demand Forecasting Research, Policy Research on China’s Petroleum Resources Exploitation and Development, Revolution Strategy of China Energy System in 2030, among others.
Mr Guo Zonghua is from Xian, Shaanxi province. He is a Senior Engineer, national chartered Electrical Engineer and President of the Gas Design Institute of Shaanxi. Mr Guo Zonghua is currently working for the Gas Design Institute of Shaanxi which ranks first in the industry, throughout the country for LNG plants, LNG car gas charging stations and CNG car gas charging station designs. Mr Guo Zonghua has worked in the Six Design Institute at the Ministry of Chemical Industry, and was responsible for petro-chemical device design. He is also a member of the LNG branch of the China Natural Gas Standardization Technology Committee, Vice Director of the LNG branch of the China Industrial Gases Association, Director of China City Gas Association and Head of the Drafting Group of National Standard Design Specification of LNG Plants, Fire-proof Design Specification of LNG Stations (land based), Design Specification of the Charging Terminal of LNG Ships and Compiling Unit of Design & Construction Specification of Oil and Gas Charging Station for Cars.
Mr Hu previously held the position of Deputy Director-General at the National Energy Administration’s Department of Oil & Gas. He has also long served in state energy and economic administrative departments. Mr Hu oversaw the organization, coordination, document formulation and policy research work for a number of major engineering projects. Examples include the West-East Gas Pipeline Project, the Guangdong LNG Project, state transportation and shipbuilding projects, the exploitation of the East China Sea, and the construction of the China-Central Asia Gas Pipeline. Mr Hu also oversaw the drafting of documents on the development planning for state oil and gas pipelines and LNG projects. Mr Hu was awarded the Ministry-and-Commission-Level Progress Prize in Scientific and Collective Technology for his research findings.
Yuanxin He, has a Master of Engineering and is a senior engineer. He is currently the General Manager of the energy and chemical equipment industry project at CRRC Yangtzeco. Ltd, as well as the deputy director of its product research institute and Senior Expert. He has been registered as the pressure vessel design examiner for the C1(tank car), C2(truck tank), C3(tank container), A2(fixed pressure vessel) and SAD(stress analysis).
Yuan Shuangjie graduated from Tianjin University, as a Doctor in Chemical Engineering.
Since 2012, Mr Yuan has been the engineer in China Petroleum Pipeline Engineering Co., Ltd.
As the Deputy Project Manager and Process Lead, he joined the LNG Storage Station in Chaozhou Economic Cooperation Zone. He also managed many other projects, such as Petro China project LNG Terminal and outside the pipeline in Shenzhen, The third and second West – East Gas Pipeline Construction and research of key technology in Western GAS pipe network.
Gary Constantine has a broad range of international experience in the energy, chemicals and mining sectors across Asia, Europe and North America. Prior to joining Steelhead LNG, Gary held various leadership positions with Shell International including Asia Pacific regional team lead for Shell Trading in Singapore and Project Development Manager for floating LNG from The Hague. Most recently, Gary served as Senior Commercial Manager for LNG Canada focusing on the key commercial aspects of the gas value chain. Prior to Shell, his experience included marketing and business development roles across Asia Pacific with PQ Corporation and the Unilever chemical businesses.
